Located in Sausheim, between Mulhouse and Basel, LA GIOIA invites you to enjoy an authentic and comfortable experience in a refined and welcoming setting. Our residence hotel offers spacious studios and apartments (40 to 52 m2), combining the comfort of a hotel with the freedom of a home.
Designed for 1 to 4 guests, our tastefully decorated accommodations feature fully equipped kitchenettes, 50-inch smart TVs, and modern bathrooms with walk-in showers. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with family, or on business, everything is in place for a comfortable stay in Alsace.
Free parking, pet-friendly policy, and baby beds available on request — every detail is carefully thought out so you can feel at home… away from home.

LA GIOIA is, above all, a family story. At the heart of the project are Gabrielle and Mario, the parents, joined by their children Laura and Giovanni, along with their spouses and grandchildren – all contributing to this wonderful adventure.
We’ve been based in Sausheim for several years, where we first opened the LA GIOIA restaurant, located just across from the residence. Thanks to the close bonds we’ve built with our guests and our passion for warm, Italian-style hospitality, expanding our activity to include a residence hotel that reflects our values came naturally.
For us, hospitality is a way of life. We are committed to offering every guest a comfortable, authentic, and peaceful experience, in a setting designed for relaxation. As lovers of Alsace, we’ll be happy to guide you through the must-sees of the region and share our favorite local spots.
